First impressions last and our day at Jamberoo Action Park was a masterclass in hospitality and heart. From the moment we arrived, Matt George made us feel like absolute VIPs, personally welcoming us and showing us to our family-sized, family-friendly, family-fitted-out cabana for the day — complete with TV, safe, and bar fridge. It was comfort and convenience, Jamberoo-style!
While the kids couldn’t wait to dive into the fun, I stayed dry (for a while!) as I joined an AALARA26 Conference Committee meeting with Matt from the comfort of Jamberoo HQ. But once business wrapped up, it was straight into “Kristy is just a big kid” mode!
An overcast sky and quieter weekday meant we scored the jackpot — no line ups! The kids and I raced (no running!) from one slide to another, laughing, shrieking, and with a very healthy amount of competition. Then came the chairlift to the summit and a classic toboggan ride down the hill — cue the belly giggles and nostalgia overload.
What struck me most wasn’t just the rides or the setting, but the soul of this park. The legacy of Jim and the Eddy family is alive in every corner — their incredible vision, their unwavering determination, and their loyal, passionate team have created something truly special.
Jamberoo Action Park is more than just a place to cool off in the warmer months— it’s a place to reconnect with joy, family, and fun. What. A. Day. (For those playing at home – I won the family race down on the 8 person Octo racer slide!)
Thank you to Matt and the entire Jamberoo team for giving us the gift of lifelong memories.
