Making A Splash At Raging Waters Sydney

Our AALARA On the Road adventure took us to Raging Waters Sydney, and what a sensational day it was from the very moment we arrived! At the front gate we were warmly welcomed by none other than AALARA Vice President, Ros Pullen, who personally greeted my family and me and escorted us to our very own cabana for the day. VIP treatment from the get-go!

With our cabana sorted and a fresh fruit platter on its way, there was no time to waste—it was straight to the tower to take on some of Raging Waters’ biggest thrills. First up: the BomboraWhirlwind360 RushT5, and one of my personal favourites—purely for the name—the Tantrum, lovingly nicknamed after my kids.

Thanks to our Ride Express wristbands, we were up the stairs, down the slides, and back up again in record time. These rides set the tone for what was bound to be a day stacked with adrenaline and laughter.

After conquering the big tower, it was time to refuel with an açaí bowl and move on to some slightly more tame adventures. We hit the dual slides: the Half PipeTropical CycloneTyphoon, and The Breakers. Once again, Ride Express worked its magic—not only for us, but also for a few guests we chatted with who were quickly convinced of their value!

With our fruit platter waiting, it was back to the cabana for a moment of R&R before heading out once more—this time for the H2Go Racers. Never one to miss a friendly competition, I’m pleased to report that I beat Ben fair and square. Bragging rights secured.

As often happens at this time of year, a storm began brewing in the distance, signalling that it was time for us to pack up and head off to our next destination. But we didn’t leave without one last thing—a selfie and a warm sayonara with Ros.

A massive thank you, Ros, for the incredible hospitality and VIP treatment.
Raging Waters Sydney delivered thrills, laughs, and memories we won’t soon forget.
