James Kemp has worked in the entertainment & hospitality industry for over 20 years in varying capacities with a range of professional organisations. Originating from a sheep station in Texas Queensland, James created a business in 1994 called Barnyard Babies designed to teach children about the important role domestic farm animals play in our society. In 2004 he purchased an existing carnival company, Carnival Land Amusements, to run along side the animal farm business until 2008 when BB was sold to concentrate on the transportable amusements. James however is still very heavily involved in the Brisbane Royal Show providing numerous animal displays, including the animal nursery, lamb birthing centre, pat a piglet, dairy display and shows, shearing demonstrations and more. Carnival Land Amusements is based in Brisbane and specialises in school fetes and corporate functions.
